Traditional designs with modern elements set against the the stately elegance of the Union League created a lush and romantic scene. Some tables received tall glass trumpets or glass pedestal Revere bowls brimming with peonies, hydrangea and orchids; others a modern grouping of water-filled cylinders topped with floating candles.
