This year’s A Date With a Plate, a bi-annual gathering of noted event planners and designers from florists to stationers, benefited Project A.L.S. and showcased imaginative and unique tablescapes. Robertson’s own Eric Schellack created a fantastical display of Fall’s rich foliage and lush blooms inspired by the William Blake poem “To Autumn.”
O Autumn, laden with fruit, and stain’d
With the blood of the grape, pass not, but sit
Beneath my shady roof; there thou may’st rest,
And tune thy jolly voice to my fresh pipe,
And all the daughters of the year shall dance!
Sing now the lusty song of fruits and flowers.
