The Franklin Institute set the stage for this stunning wedding with a clear backdrop of the city skyline and dramatic architecture. Whites and creams, vivid greens and royal blues, pale yellows and a variety textures were featured in the floral arrangements and accented with unique touches.
The bride’s bouquet was comprised of fluffy peonies, viburnum, and two large lady slipper orchids. The stems were wrapped with a cream satin ribbon and pearlhead pins for an elegant finish. The bridesmaids’ bouquets featured the same white and green flowers with additions of pale yellow roses and deep blue delphinium that mirrored their cobalt blue dresses. Pale yellow or green satin ribbons wrapped the stems. The groom wore a simple cream rose with green hypericum berries and satin ribbon.
The guest tables were dressed in white matte satin linens layered with white sheer squares. Three different looks were created for the centerpieces including tall glass garnier vases for a tall trumpet of flowers, a display of three various sized clear glass cylinders highlighting individual flowers, and a leaf-lined glass pedestal vase with a lush mound of flowers as a final look. The tables were cast in the soft glow of antique silver mercury votives.
Yellow garden roses, white peonies and blue delphinium cascaded down the four tiered cake.
